So after a little delay and an F1 type taxi drive to the hotel, first thing was to build the bikes! Ladies first was the rule of thumb for Chris helping Birgit out! We all managed to get them up and built in good time with only the one minor set back. Duncan “I’ll squeeze a little more air in” Hay giving himself and the team the first puncture (hopefully the last) of the trip. A quick turnaround saw us out for dinner in Venice.

Currently sat on the train heading back for a good nights sleep before setting off on a 160km first day.
